The wheel does work perfectly in other games, e.g. Ive tried the FH4 demo: No fps issues (60+ fps) with the Sidewinder Wheel but rumble/force feedback doesnt work. ![]() I'd like some advice please - anyone used both the FFB Pro and FFB2, and how does the force feedback effect compare (in Condor only - I don't care how well/badly either works in anything else! ). As soon as I configure the Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel as an input FM7 runs at 17.9 fps :(. I have tried SimFFB with War Thunder and as soon as you alt+tab back to WT the centring force is 100. Using SimFFB I can turn down the forces in FSX so works great there too. I know this is for a good reason (The 2 has USB, the Pro has only a gameport connection and limited compatibility with XP), but after studying the specs, for those luckily enough to have a gameport on their PC, the differences don't seem worth the extra £40. Microsoft Force Feedback 2 (usb) - works great in DCS. I know the Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 is the poster child for force feedback joysticks, but on the UK eBay it seems to sell at a minimum of £50 on eBay, while people have trouble selling its older sister (the Sidewinder FFB Pro) for £10! sacramento toys & games - by owner 'power wheels' - craigslist loading. ![]() ![]() I've just invested in a replacement PC (my old Duron 1Ghz died a slow death) and am keen to hold on to as much of my remaining cash as possible for real flying, but keen to get a new force feedback joystick to replace my malfunctioning X36
